 this year how I felt about the school year was tiring and  most of it  was quite a challenge and how I felt about the other half of the year was  just a great improvement for the year that I just had.so what we 

did in the year of school 2018 was camp 

raglan,Parakai,Te Tuhi and other cool trips the one achievement that I Am most proud  of is that I made a new friend called David.

the new thing that discovered about myself was that I'm a good friend to my friends-just a bit because sometimes I go over funny to my friends .

the new skill that I learned was that nice people makes nice friends.

the five people that I liked spending time with was David,Jose,Mason and Fe'ao because sometimes that make me laugh and they say funny jokes to me 

David because he is always a good friend to me and it always makes me happy

Today On Friday 16th of November Each house had a competition and it was a running competition and the other competitions were  Shot putt,Steady jump,Far jump,High jump and Discuss the   houses that were there was Tobruk, Benghazi, Alamein and Tripoli. In Each station we get 5 mins after the 5 min was over we had to rotate clockwise.

 but the first thing that we had to do was we had  to walk around the bike track to get to our house. we had to sing our chance  well walking around the track too to  get  to our house when we got there that is when we started our competition of Shot Putt, Steady Jump,Far Jump,High Jump and Discuss. the thing I had to do before I went to the stations was I had to get split   up into a group the group. that I got splitted into was group 2.

after lunch time what we did was we had to play a game. it was called Astria the game, to play the game was we had to play with partners . my partner was Jose Smith. an we did not play with one netbook we had to choose the   netbook to play on and the netbook that we chose was Jose's  netbook to start the game miss gave us a pass code but Mrs. Arieen first gave us some instruction on how to play the game, after a few minutes later we all started to play the game what we had to do in the game is make hard  decision to pass the stages.

Today what I did after morning tea  was my Math Assessment I Had to finish off my Maths work after I had finished a Maths problem I had to do a Screencastify

after  I finished that Screencastify I had to do another Maths problem then do another Screencastify then after that I had to do that 1 more time then when I was finished  I came back to class and started doing my blog post. What I liked doing was my Screencastify and showing my strategy to everyone. 

Life education

                                 Today we went to Life Education the first thing we did was study about the stomach we had to get into buddies to do this task  I was with David.  we got  a bag with stuff in it the stuff that were inside was a stomach,two pens a paper and another two.  before we answer all the question we had to read the sheet first after a long time of reading the sheet we answered all the question and I got lots of help from my buddie David by the time we finished the questions the teacher told us to stand up then we did after that they asked us the same questions that we answered before and we got some of them right and one of them wrong. We watched a video and it was about drugs after the video was finished we went back to class and the session was over

Today after lunch time what I did what I did was Maths and I did it with Kelly, she went with a group the people that were in our group was Alo,Jose,Fe'ao and Alathia.

we went to the library to have our Maths  but first we had to read a book together after we finished we did our maths what we did for Maths was we played probability or no chance. after that lofa came back from his test with Ms. Kilya when he came back we were having a quick round of our Fractions.

But  what we did today was we had to disagree,partly agree or strongly agree what my thoughts were was to partly agree then after we did that we had to write down  our statement for 20 minutes after  a long last of 20 minutes we had posted our statement.

reflection about the production

   Pacific natural disaster Production

On the first day of our Production what we did was that Mrs. Aireen had oder the some of the student leaders to write a script for our Production and all of the scripts Were about natural disasters but all of the scripts had different natural disasters the first group was the Fiji group , their natural     disaster was  Flood so what they had to with their natural disaster was they had to follow the script and remember their part  after that they had to put in some action into it, what I mean is they had to make a play out of their script . When they had finished their play they have to put into action.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 So the next group was Niue and their Natural disaster was landslide so what they had to do was make a play with there script so that had to get costume and stuff for their play so when they have done that  they had to show the whole class what the play was about and how the natural disaster was made.

             

The 3rd to last group was  cook Island Their natural disaster was earthquake and what they had to do was the same as all the other groups  that they did.

Today we were just learn just learning about the  Verbs and Adverb just like a minute ago so what we did inside that learning is we had to brainstorm what a Adverb and a verb is so what we wrote down was a doing word or a action word but for a Adverb what we had to do was we had to add something to the word and it is ly for example quickly,shotly and all those sort of words so that is what we did for learning today.

Boxing Reflection

Today the Kia Manawanui Wi went to boxing in the hall and out teacher was named Pat and the first thing we did was wear our boxing gloves and sit in a circle. Well we were sitting in a circle we had to recap what we did last time after that we had to continue on the moves that we did last time.the Moves were called Jab and cross the next thing we did is learn some new moves and they were called uppercut left and right hook.how to do the moves is we have to twist backwards and then come in with a sideway L how to do the next move is you have to twist back like the hook then we have to come up with a punch when we finished learning the new moves with had to try it with our partner.What we had to do with our partner is we had to try our new moves with them after we did that we had to two part lines on both sides one was on another side and one on another side.what we had to do next is we did our combos when we finished that we went back to the class.what I enjoyed is us learning the new moves what I did not enjoyed is me getting confused what was challenging was the combo.

today at school what I did in the first block is my geology and natural disaster we were in groups and the people that was in my group is Jose, Mason, David and suave.  that was the people that was in my group what   we had to do is answer a question and the question was what was the minerals that make up the Earth's layers we had to fill in that question after we watch that video with our whole class. we started to fill in the question on our presentation after we did that we started to watch another video.it was about people that dug down to the center of the Earth when we finish watching that video we had to start finishing off the last part of our presentation we had to understand plate boundaries that task was kind of hard for me when I finished it I was done with my work. I showed it to the teacher and she said I was finish with my work.

MY MATH TEST

Today at School I did a Math test but where I did it was in room 9 after that I opened up my chromebook and went on the site the internet was not working then I waited I while then I look at my screen but it was still not working. My first blog reflection for Term 3 2018

The two interesting things that I did in the holidays is going to the Matariki Light Trail what we did their was went to go see the fireworks it did not happen yet so we followed these stuff that had lights on it after all of that we made it to the end. we went to do some hula hoops but I did not kown how to so I just wait we my mom and My sister the next thing we did was go buy some drinks and some food to eat. we went back and we went inside the Te Ora and lots of people were inside dancing their but when it was finish we went out the exit and waited for the fireworks the place that we were standing on first was the grass in front of the light trail but then we thought that it was not a good place. we stand near by where they close the gate then when the fireworks happens it was loud very loud the thing that happened is that lots of people were shouting very loud and when the lots of fireworks blew at once it looked like it was day but at the the end ever started to clapped.  we went home and at food then sleep we went there because our cousin told us to go there How went there it is because our cousins were there the people that was there was My mom,Graces Mum, My brother and our cousins. 

The next thing I'm going to talk about is spending time with my family. The thing that i did with my family is we stayed up late well my mum was in the Garage with our Sister well we stayed in the Living room on our netbooks. our dad went somewhere but what our dad told us is  that our Brother had to sleep on ten o'clock. but we still stayed up but when it was ten o'clock  our brother was asleep   we still stayed up on our netbooks when we looked at the time it was late. I said to my brother should we go to the Garage now. my brother said but I am still charging after that we went to the Garage we stayed their for a while then our brother woke up and he went for a drink then when our mum told us to stay with him after that we went there to the Living Room and again we looked at the clock it is really late than we heard our dad coming then he saw us after that we went to sleep.

So my favorite game that I like is called wipeout hd fury  and  the type of game it is a racing game and it has lot of parts and ships to choose from it is a 2-4 player game and how it works is you can race and have fun with your friends and family.



this is my next part and I am going to tell you what type of mod and online stuff you can do on the game called Wipeout Hd Fury. what kind on modes in Wipeout Hd Fury you can play is multiplayer mode there is two multiplayer modes one is the online one and another one is when you can play on your local ps3 or ps4 but the second mode is arcade mode when you have to past lots of levels until you reach the end and the last mode  is zone Mode it is when you have to try got the best high score but that mode is endless the thing that you have to try not to do is bump into the sidewall if you keep on bumping on it you will die and that is all of the modes.

Today I am going to talk about what I did in the holidays... but what I did in the holidays was I was just in my house well My Mother was going works at preschool but the ones who had to  come over was my cousins and they had to stay well my mom was going to work and she was gone for 6 hours we waited  well  we waited we went on our computers and after a little while we went on the trampoline we played and had fun there than some of us went back inside and continued on doing our stuff on our computers we waited another long time until mom came with some stuff then we waited until our cousins  dad came....

in saturday what i did was go to my little brother rugby game he played for marist but the place that we played in was mt wellington club and we played on the fields but  the first thing we saw when we entered was we saw another team playing after that we went out our car and sat down and watched a little bit of the other team play the next thing we did was we went and played with a girl after that  our brother game was on and they were versing  mt wellington and they played and played until marist won the game then after that we got money then went to the shop and buy ourselves   stuff then we went to see another game but after all of that we went back home and had a rest

YOUTH

YOUTH - 21/06/2018

Today at youth we discussed God and how he helped us. In doing so, a film called Youth Alpha was being watched as the main activity for today's youth programme.

The first thing that we did before we started was we had a little snack but after that we did our stuff this is specifically saying that we watched a video.The stuff that was in the video was just people talking about what they think about Jesus and talking about their life and how god/Jesus helped them. We stopped at a question  and we had to answer some question about what the video was telling us.
what we did to answer that question was we got into groups and answer the question.

the next thing that happened was some people had answer and they shared it all out and we discussed lots of stuff  and lots of answer then after all that we went back together and we watched all the other parts and we stop on another question and we went back to our groups and did the same thing but different answer.

The next thing that we did was went back together again then we watched some other parts of the video and we stop on another question then we went back to our groups again  then we had lots of answer and question about the topic that we just looked at.After all that we went back together again then after we watched the video we played some games and then at the end we went back home then we slept till the next day.

What did I do at school

School Reflection: 21/06/2018

What I did at school was worked on my school exercise. This was specifically working on my Blog. In that I was been instructed by my teacher to reflect on what I did and blog them together. I will talk about three important things I did at school in this blog. These are Matariki, inquiry and investigation and mathematic.

The story of Matariki that was discussed today was having conversation about the seven sisters. Some claimed that these sisters are seven stars. Other says they are nine sisters. Weather they are nine or seven I would say this is an amazing record of history in the Maori Whakapapa. It is a vital knowledge from the generation yesterday to today's education.

The exercise we had in relation to our learning about inquiry and investigation was based in a group discussion. Our discussion was about the solar system and who discovered it and the discovery year. Mr Galileo Galilei Polymath was the discoverer of the solar system. He discovered it in 1536. Mr Polymath was born in Pisa, Italy. The significant of this story was to understand the concept of inquiry and investigation. It was the purpose of this exercise to ensure our group was making enquiry and investigating our subjects to its truth.

The exercise that we did in our last block was Maths.What we did was to answer the question of how to calculate small number of squares to fit in a limited space. This involves planning in how to complete our calculation. Resources were provided by our teachers (Ms Komor and Ms Aireen). Our group splits out the table all together into six quarters. We were hoping to achieve have small fitting these squares into limited space as instructed.

In this blog I discussed what I have intended to do. Matariki is a vital part of inquiry and investigation. Mathematic is also a must have skill in our daily life. These are all equally significant knowledge to have in our life journey.
